Urban Service Camp (USC) is a community service camp and much more located at Avondale Samaritan Place near Avondale Park. Get ready to do fun and educational service projects, workshops, and games that introduce campers ages 13-18 to the benefits of helping their community and the barriers to doing it. Campers make new friends from all over Greater Birmingham. USC utilizes Birmingham’s amazing desire to help others to introduce youth to community needs and service. Youth come away from camp with an experience of building a community, new relationships, and an empowered self.
